FREMONT, CA: Comtech Telecommunications Corp’s New York-based subsidiary, Comtech PST Corp., which is a part of Comtech’s Government Solutions segment, receives a $3.5 million contract for high-power amplifier systems from a major domestic prime contractor.
These wide frequency band amplifier systems use the latest in solid-state GaN transistor technology, which serves as a part of electronic warfare jamming systems. These systems were developed in close partnership with their customers to address harsh operating environments.
Fred Kornberg, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, “This order clearly demonstrates our continued leadership position in providing electronic warfare jamming transmitter technology and the ongoing demand for our high-power broadband amplifiers that are utilized by major electronic warfare application programs in both domestic and international markets.”
