Syncsort to Acquire Pitney Bowes' Software Solution Business to Design Data Management Platform

The acquisition strengthens best-in-class location intelligence, data enrichment, customer information management, and engagement solutions with powerful data integration and optimization software.

FREMONT, CA: Syncsort announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Pitney Bowes' Software Solution business. This acquisition will allow Syncsort to provide differentiated capabilities to organizations. 

Syncsort's data integration tool is available on three distinct platforms, Syncsort DMX, DMX-h, and Iron stream. The company's asset tool is known to be DMX, a solution that brings the data transformation into a high-performance ETL engine.

The deal, which is expected to close by the end of the year, will focus on helping Syncsort to extend its portfolio, known for its Trillium line of data quality solutions.

Pitney Bowes, since inception, helps remove the complexity of getting commerce transactions accurately. The commerce solutions provider is well-known for its core data quality features.

Pitney Bowes key business lines include:

• Location Intelligence: organizations can enrich and analyze location data for enhanced business insights.

• Data Enrichment: provides a comprehensive portfolio of business, geographic, and industry-specific data featuring global coverage across 250 countries.

The company stated in a press release that it would consider the sale if the business is worth more to someone else than to their organization. The sale of the Software Solutions business to Syncsort confirms the same. The company's software and data business together with Syncsort, will provide the scope, which helps create value for clients, partners, and the Pitney Bowes Software Solutions team.
