Mobile network operators who are deploying in-building cellular solutions and enterprises focused on new options, will have enhanced interoperability and co-marketing initiatives with the solution developed by the telecom giants.
FREMONT, CA: The global industry leader in wireless fronthaul innovations for virtual Radio Access Network (RAN), Dali Wireless, is collaborating with Amarisoft, an equally pioneering company focused on software-centric 4G LTE, and 5G NR technology and solutions. The collaboration has completed the initial interoperability validation of an end-to-end vRAN system. These systems are significantly based around Dali’s vFI and Amarisoft’s 100 percent eNodeB software.
The collaboration of the forces has mainly strengthened the companies’ commitment and dedication. It has also provided flexible, interoperable, and scalable offerings in an era of open, cost-effective enterprise RAN solutions. The combined power plays of the companies, initially focused on 4G, have now decided to evolve to 5G. On the way to the upgrade, Amarisoft’s virtual gNodeB software that is already supporting both SA and NSA mode is also incorporated. The duo, in the spirit of embracing Open RAN, the radio heads from Dali’s eco-system partner Gigatera Communications, are also included.
“We are pleased that Amarisoft is on our growing list of virtual BBU partners for Dali’s innovative in-building wireless solution based on vF,” said Dr. Albert Lee, Dali Wireless’s founder, and CEO. “This collaboration advances our mission of making it easier for customers to deploy open, cost-effective, and elastic RAN solutions. Amarisoft’s 4G LTE and 5G NR software suites, based on common, off the shelf servers, are designed from the ground up to be cloud-native and scalable. Amarisoft’s offerings compliment Dali’s virtual fronthaul and in-building solutions.”
“We are pleased to be compatible with Dali’s solution enabling an Open RAN architecture by connecting any vendor’s baseband products to any other vendor’s radio units,” said Franck Spinelli, Amarisoft’s CEO, “Thus it is going to be easier for Dali’s customers to benefit from our latest software BBUs in 4G and 5G.”
Amarisoft has dedicated its entire resources to focus on LTE 4G and 5G NR. The company has its interests from research, proof-of-concept, testing, product manufacturing, industrialization, and maintenance of the system. Its eco-system of partners and integrators bring success to wireless telecom project. Dali Wireless, an innovator in wireless infrastructure, provides improved ways to manage the exponential growth in mobile data traffic with its fully digital wireless signal routing solution. This solution revolutionizes in-building and outdoor coverage and capacity by eliminating interference and maximizing spectrum usage.
