For more than five years, ZenFi Networks has been deploying mobile network infrastructure throughout the City of New York, and now in association with Cross River Fiber, the company is leveraging its capabilities to deploy C-RAN-enabled infrastructure in Northern New Jersey.

FREMONT, CA: ZenFi Networks, a New York-based dark fiber backhaul company that focuses on enabling network edge colocation, fiber optic network, and wireless siting solutions in the NY-NJ metro region, announced the expansion of its C-RAN network with the deployment of over 600 turnkey small cell nodes in Northern New Jersey. Apart from deploying fronthaul fiber to each of these nodes, major mobile network operator (MNO) selected ZenFi Networks to provide network edge colocation and wireless siting in support of the 5G network build-out.

"The regional demand for wireless network infrastructure continues to explode," comments ZenFi Networks' Co-Founder and CEO, Ray LaChance. "Our customers benefit from our extensive New York City and New Jersey metro network that allows them to deploy their 4G and 5G capabilities. Now, as a strategic byproduct of this explosive growth, this highly dense, highly accessible network can be leveraged by others to provide value-added services."

For more than five years, ZenFi Networks has been deploying mobile network infrastructure throughout the City of New York, and now in association with Cross River Fiber, the company is leveraging its increased and more improved capabilities to deploy C-RAN-enabled infrastructure in Northern New Jersey. This helps the company to emphasize its ability to expand its network reach, deepen its product portfolio, and be a pioneer in providing C-RAN network infrastructure that enables the 5G ecosystem. ZenFi can also provide purpose-built private optic networks that serve the wholesale, wireless, and enterprise markets.

ZenFi Networks is focused on building network architecture in support of latency and density requirements of mobile network operators. On the other hand, wholesale telecom carriers, as well as big enterprise businesses, can also take advantage of the company's network edge colocation services and ultra-dense footprint for traffic aggregation. As of now, ZenFi Networks has deployed more than 1000 miles of route fiber in the region with over 45 network edge colocation facilities.
